AB Split Test v2.6.2: Cloudflare Edge Testing, Optimization Hub, and Smarter AI

🌍 Full Page Testing at the Cloudflare Edge

Full page split tests can now run at the Cloudflare edge via a Worker. Your traffic gets split before it even reaches WordPress, which means no flicker, no redirect hop, and faster, cleaner test delivery.

Setup is handled entirely inside the plugin. Go to Settings > Cloudflare, enter your Account ID, Zone ID, and API token, then hit Deploy. The plugin creates the Worker, syncs your KV config, and sets up conflict-safe auto-scoped routes automatically. You never need to touch the Cloudflare dashboard or write any code.

The CRO Hub has been rebuilt and renamed the Optimization Hub, and it is now the first thing you see when you open AB Split Test.

One tabbed layout covering everything: active tests, test ideas, AI analysis, and a brand new Competitors tab. Add any competitor or site you admire, CROAssist compares it against yours, finds the gaps, and turns them into test ideas you can launch in one click.

✨ Create Element in Magic Mode

Previously Magic Mode let you edit elements already on the page. Now you can place a brand new element directly from the Magic editor.

CROAssist can suggest the HTML, the chat auto-places it at the suggested location, and you can reposition it after placement. Want to test adding a new callout, badge, or CTA without touching your page builder? Now you can.

💡 Test Ideas, Everywhere

Test Ideas now live in one central store, surfaced across the Optimization Hub, the Test Ideas page, and the AI tabs.

Each idea has qualitative ICE labels, expandable cards, and source tags so you know where the idea came from. When you are ready to act, hit Build and the full idea context carries straight into the Magic editor or CROAssist chat.

📞 CallTrackingMetrics Integration

Phone calls tracked by CTM can now count as conversions, attributed directly to the right test variation. Results show up in your AB Split Test dashboard without needing to pull data from anywhere else.

⚡ Faster Test Results

Test results have moved from post meta into a dedicated database table. Reports load faster, especially on sites with a lot of historical test data. Config pushes from staging to production no longer overwrite live result tallies.
