I’m not seeing either variation of my test?
While we work hard to make sure we’re excluded from most caches, coded safely and integrated properly. Sometimes settings need adjusting. This is what our world class support team is here for – please reach out if you need further assistance beyond the below.
Cache issues.
Clear your website and server caches.
We try to clear all caches automatically after test creation, but if your caching too is not supported, and doesn’t hook into standard WordPress cache clearing events, you may need to do this manually. When you create a test, you will see an alert telling which caches have (or have not) been cleared.

Optimization – Delay / Defer
If you see a white screen for a long time, or you have to move your mouse/scroll/click before a test variation is shown, you likely have an optimization tool blocking our scripts.
We auto-exclude from many popular optimization tools – yours is likely included. But if not, please send us a note and we will add compatibility. That’s part of the service 🙂
To confirm this issue, go to your optimzation settings and search for ‘Defer’ / ‘Delay’ / ‘Wait until interaction’ or similar
- Disabling this feature
- Clear your website cache
- View your website in an incognito window.
JavaScript error
If you are seeing no variations, its possible you have a major JavaScript error preventing any further scripts to run.
AB Split Test hides all variations by default, then shows the appropriate version using JavaScript.
Check your browser console for any errors.
